TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in Team Pursuit Global programs, services, and activities, including the use of photography and video for promotional purposes and transportation provided by Team Pursuit. By registering for or participating in any Team Pursuit program, you agree to abide by these terms.

1. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:

  • Treat all Team Pursuit staff, contractors, volunteers, and fellow participants with respect

  • Refrain from violent, threatening, or disruptive behavior

  • Not possess or use weapons, drugs, or alcohol during programs or on Team Pursuit property

  • Follow instructions from Team Pursuit staff and respect program guidelines

  • Maintain confidentiality about other participants and sensitive information shared during programs

2. Assumption of Risk

Participation in Team Pursuit programs may involve physical activities, community outreach, and other experiences that carry inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to hold Team Pursuit harmless for injuries or damages that occur during normal program activities, except in cases of gross negligence.

3. Emergency Contact and Medical Authorization

You agree to provide accurate emergency contact and relevant medical information. In the event of an emergency, Team Pursuit is authorized to contact your emergency contact and, if necessary, seek medical attention on your behalf or on behalf of your minor child/ward. You understand that you are responsible for any medical costs incurred.

4. Program Changes and Cancellations

Team Pursuit reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel programs due to weather, safety concerns, staffing, or other circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to notify participants of changes.

5. Termination of Participation

Team Pursuit reserves the right to remove any participant from a program who violates the Code of Conduct, poses a safety risk, or otherwise disrupts programming. Removal decisions will be made at the discretion of Team Pursuit leadership.

6. Media and Photo/Video Release

Team Pursuit documents its programs, events, and community impact through photography, video, and other media. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you grant Team Pursuit Global and its authorized representatives permission to capture, use, and publish photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and other media ("Media") that include your image, likeness, voice, or statements, or those of your minor child/ward.

Media may be used for:

  • Marketing and promotional materials (print and digital)

  • Social media content (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Website content and Community Hub

  • Donor and funder communications, reports, and presentations

  • Fundraising campaigns and sponsorship materials

  • Press releases, news coverage, and media outreach

  • Training and educational materials

This release is granted without expectation of compensation. Team Pursuit owns all rights to the Media and may edit, alter, or modify as needed. This release is perpetual unless revoked in writing to [email protected]. Revocation applies to future use only.

7. Transportation Consent

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you authorize Team Pursuit Global and its authorized representatives (including contractors and volunteers) to provide transportation for yourself or your minor child/ward in connection with Team Pursuit programs, events, and activities.

Transportation may include:

  • Team Pursuit owned or leased vehicles

  • Personal vehicles operated by authorized Team Pursuit staff, contractors, or volunteers

  • Rideshare services (Uber, Lyft) arranged by Team Pursuit

  • Public transportation (bus cards, fare assistance)

Safety and Liability

  • All drivers will hold valid driver's licenses and maintain appropriate insurance

  • Participants are expected to wear seatbelts at all times

  • Team Pursuit will exercise reasonable care in providing transportation

  • You understand that transportation involves inherent risks and agree to hold Team Pursuit harmless for incidents beyond their reasonable control

You may revoke transportation consent at any time by submitting a written request to [email protected]. If revoked, you are responsible for arranging your own or your child's transportation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Team Pursuit Global and its officers, directors, contractors, volunteers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in programs or use of services.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Wayne County, Michigan.
