ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
Explore your creative potential through music production, video creation, photography, graphic design, and performance arts. This program provides hands on experience with industry professionals and access to real creative tools and studio environments.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Youth ages 12 to 24 with interest in music, visual arts, media production, or creative expression.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Portfolio development, technical skills in creative software, mentorship from working artists, and exposure to career pathways in the creative industry.
GAMING & ESPORTS
Discover the world of competitive gaming, streaming, and esports career pathways. This program teaches teamwork, strategic thinking, and digital literacy while connecting youth to a growing industry with real economic opportunities.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Youth ages 12 to 24 interested in gaming, streaming, content creation, or esports competition.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Competitive gaming skills, understanding of the esports industry, teamwork and communication skills, and exposure to streaming and content creation.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Learn how to turn your ideas into real businesses. This program covers business planning, financial literacy, marketing basics, and the mindset required to build something from the ground up. Participants will develop their own business concepts with guidance from experienced entrepreneurs.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Youth and young adults ages 14 to 24 interested in starting their own business or developing entrepreneurial skills.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Business plan development, financial management basics, marketing and branding fundamentals, pitch presentation skills, and mentorship from successful entrepreneurs.
TECH TRAINING WITH AI
Get hands on experience with technology tools including artificial intelligence, automation, digital productivity systems, and foundational tech skills. This program

Youth and young adults ages 14 to 24 interested in technology, computers, or digital careers.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Foundational tech literacy, understanding of AI tools and applications, digital productivity skills, and exposure to tech career pathways.
HEALTH & WELLNESS
Build healthy habits through nutrition education, mental wellness practices, mindfulness, and holistic self care. This program addresses the whole person and teaches sustainable wellness practices that support long term wellbeing.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Youth ages 12 to 24 and their families interested in improving physical and mental health.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Nutrition knowledge, mental wellness strategies, stress management techniques, and habits for sustainable health.
PHYSICAL TRAINING
Develop physical fitness, discipline, and confidence through structured training programs. This program goes beyond exercise to build mental toughness, goal setting skills, and a healthy relationship with physical activity.

YOUNG WOMEN'S CONFIDENCE & IDENTITY
A program designed specifically for young women to build confidence, develop strong identity, and cultivate leadership skills. Through mentorship, workshops, and real world experiences, participants learn to embrace their worth and pursue their goals with boldness.

Young women ages 12 to 24 seeking to build confidence, self awareness, and leadership skills.

WORKFORCE READINESS
Prepare for employment success through resume building, interview skills, workplace professionalism, and job placement support. This program connects participants directly to employment opportunities and provides the tools needed to succeed in the workforce.

Youth and young adults ages 16 to 24 preparing to enter or advance in the workforce.

YOUTH MENTORSHIP
Connect with trusted, credible mentors who guide you through personal development, goal setting, and life navigation. Mentorship is the foundation of everything we do at Team Pursuit. Every young person deserves someone in their corner who believes in them.

Youth ages 12 to 24 seeking guidance, support, and connection with positive role models.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
One on one mentorship relationship, personalized goal setting, accountability and support, and connection to resources and opportunities.
VIOLENCE INTERVENTION / PEACE NOW
Team Pursuit's Community Violence Intervention program operates in Detroit's 9th Precinct and 48205 zip code. Using credible messengers, trauma informed care, and relationship based conflict mediation, we work directly in the community to interrupt cycles of violence and create alternatives. Peace Now is our commitment to building a safer community through presence, trust, and real relationships.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Community members affected by or at risk of violence in the 48205 zip code and surrounding areas.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Direct intervention and mediation support, connection to resources and services, relationship with credible messengers, and pathways to stability and opportunity.
SCHOOL BASED ENGAGEMENT
We partner directly with schools to engage at risk and high risk students identified by school administration. Currently at Denby High School every Tuesday in partnership with Beat Da Odds, we build consistent relationships with students who need the most support, provide alternatives to violence and disruption, and reinforce positive behavior and leadership in the school community.

At risk and high risk students identified by school administration as those most significantly impacting school culture and climate.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Consistent mentorship relationships, positive behavioral reinforcement, leadership development, and connection to resources and opportunities.
RITES OF PASSAGE
A program designed to help young people transition into adulthood with a stronger sense of purpose, identity, and community connection. Sessions are designed around healing, accountability, self identity, and community responsibility using restorative practices to help youth process trauma, repair harm, and build healthy relationships. Held at the Ford Resource and Engagement Center.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Current program participants and other youth in the area seeking guidance through the transition to adulthood.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Stronger sense of purpose and identity, healing from trauma, accountability and self awareness, community connection, and healthy relationship skills.
CVI FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE
As part of the broader CVI Collective, we are introducing a flag football league for youth ages 11 to 17. Launching March 2026 at the new Dome at Chandler Park, the league provides safe, structured, and fun recreation while creating positive peer networks and mentorship opportunities. The league serves as both a violence prevention strategy and a platform for leadership development and teamwork.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Youth ages 11 to 17 in the 48205 community and surrounding areas.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Safe structured recreation, positive peer networks, mentorship opportunities, leadership development, teamwork skills, and a healthy alternative to street involvement.
PROTECT THE ZONE / COMMUNITY MOBILIZATION
Our community mobilization volunteer program recruits and trains volunteers to support canvassing efforts and outreach. We mobilize residents ahead of and throughout the summer months when violence risk often increases, strengthening neighborhood visibility, support, and connection to resources. Our goal is to ensure residents feel empowered, informed, and actively involved in creating safer streets.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Residents and community members who want to actively participate in neighborhood safety and outreach efforts.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Volunteer training, community canvassing experience, direct involvement in safety efforts, connection to neighbors and resources, and a sense of purpose and contribution.
WRAPAROUND SUPPORT SERVICES
Life is complicated, and sometimes people need help navigating multiple challenges at once. Our wraparound support connects individuals and families to resources including housing assistance, food access, mental health support, legal aid, childcare, and more. We address root causes so people can focus on building better futures.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Individuals and families in the 48205 zip code and surrounding areas facing housing, food, employment, mental health, legal, or other challenges.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS GAIN
Personalized resource navigation, connection to partner organizations, case management support, and holistic support addressing multiple needs simultaneously.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT EVENTS
